The Washing Machine puts off an odor that is a blend of detergent and rot/sewer. It only does it when it is being used.

I ran a hot cycle with bleach, but it still stinks. The trap has water in it. Any suggestions to get rid of this?

TIA,
Molo

Dump a quart of bleach in it and set the load / water
capacity on the highest setting...fill with hot water then add 1/2 cup of liquid softener, turn it on and and let it run for 5 min. then shut it off and let it sit for about 24 hrs. Then turn it back on and let the load finish see if that doesn't help

Real TSP (tri sodium phosphate) can be used also with the bleach and has good success
