The water from my well is showing 180 ppm alkalinity and a pH of 8.0. My IRB-sulfur problem has not returned since my last chlorine treatment to the well a few months ago. I have a submersible pump.

Do I still have a problem that needs to be resolved?

I discovered those readings in water straight from the well after checking my small backyard pool before adding a Monopersulfate sanitizer.
