Hello.

I've got a single handle faucet in my kitchen sink and it recently began producing a shuddering noise when the water is first turned on. It also seems that the sprayer (attached to the sink) shutters a bit too when the faucet turned on. The problem is specific to this one sink in the house and only happens when you first use the faucet. In other words, if you turn the water on you get the shutter. If you turn the water off and then back on again, no shutter. After some time passes, the shutter will return when the faucet is turned on again. Please note, the water pressure is fine.

Any theories out there? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
-Ed
