If I remember correct, the system pressure would have to be above 80 pounds to overcome the pump. I would remove the entire check valve...

Just to be clear, that's a UPC rule, and the IPC has some limited allowances for that on fixture drains. Cheers, Wayne

yes other than venting thats a vent 90. and 1/4 bend is never on its side as well except venting!
