Hello,

With teens in the house, it's always a mystery how stuff breaks since no one sees or hears anything :D

Noticed shower diverter is bent now.
What's the best way to proceed?

Can I take off diverter screw from bottom without turning off water? and then see if perhaps its only a cartridge that is bent?
Or is it best left for a pro?

Thanks,

Can also provide side pics to show the bent.

well the tub spout might or might not be damaged I suspect the spout is a connected to copper tubing and bent . The tub spout probebly has an allen screw on the bottom loosten the screw remove spout then take a small chizel or screw driver bust a bit of tile off around the tube to see in side and try to bend it back . clean off caulk and replace spout

Thanks,
Loosened screw,
took out spout
See copper pipe was bent slightly,
cleaned area
put spout back
pushed it in
Caulked
DONE

Phew, glad that it was nothing.

Now looking for a site to deal with teenagers ;);)
