Are the dialectric unions corroding or getting packed with debris?

Dissimilar metals, when in the presence of an electrolyte, act as a battery, and the more reactive one will disolve, or change chemically...it is not like an aereator clogging up with debris...it is rust, or a similar more stable compound, depending on the material. Way back when, in HS chemistry, I knew the relative location on the charts for various elemental metals...but, it's been 40+ years.

after a few years they just completely clog up or rot out inside from the electroysis reaction happenning within them...

they should not be used with parrell
water heaters because one set of uniions might clog
up quicker than the others and then affect the draw
off both heaters


I am interested to see how the dialectric nipples hold up
but have not found any problems with them yet...
