There is no manual available that describes its usage. One source says you turn it.
Open, turning on the water at the shower control mixing valve, on the wall above, we want water to go through the toe tester spout, and only switch to it diverting to the ceiling showerhead when warm water is flowing.
But turning it would have water flow spouting sideways? And does it return to open (not diverting) when the mix valve is turned to OFF?
