I have an Eljer Cabrillo tub with 6 jets. While moving into place one of the plastic hose "manifolds" or jet body, that is on the back side of the jets cracked. I have the parts to replace everything but I cannot get the tubes going to the jet manifold or the jet on the tub side to come off. I have already remove the SS clamps from the tubing. But the tubing just won't budge. I have tried heating it a little but I am afraid of permanently deforming something if I use too much heat. Is there a trick to getting the tubing off and the plastic manifold behind the jet?

Not likely a problem that many if any plumber would typically face. Can you post a picture of the problem and the area around it?
