Is the Toto unit fit the best solution to convert a 14 inch rough in to a 12 inch rough in? Not sure which to buy

Uncertain whether to buy the Toto UNI fit or the Kohler K381 to convert my 14 inch rough in to a 12 inch rough in. Please advise.

The adapter has to match the toilet. You do not mix brands.

In the case of Toto, the needed Unifit can differ, based on which Toto toilet you have.

Hmm I read this question differently.
My question is which brand with a unifit type adapter works better.
Kohler or Toto? Then I'll know which brand to start with or if they are equal.
Any clogging problems endemic to either solution?
I need a toilet that looks like it belongs in a hundred year old house, without having the tank mounted near the ceiling.
