Hi all,

I’m looking to put an Ultramax in the bath upstairs, but there are some confusing items in trying to select smong Toto’s models.

Can anyone please explain how the letters ending the # relate to anything — like CEFG? I can’t seem to find this out.

Also, the model I bought my wife like 10 years ago is ADA height, CEFIONTECT, and dual-tornado flush. At these prices,I’d like to get that type again but they are a choice between Gmax and Emax now. There’s no description anywhere I’ve seen that says more than ‘great’ or ‘gravity’. Not sure why the press blackout on this for a $600 to $850 toilet and the vastness of the internet, but nada. Anyone, please? Is this info hidden in the model # too?

I blame Toto for this confusion too. They keep phasing models in and out, stores’ stocks lag behind, and they guard the info more tightly than the recipe for cocola or kfat chicken….

Is there such a critter as an Ultramax 1.6gpf, ADA height, Cotton White, Dual Tornado flush, with CefIonTect or CEFIONTECT and what would its model # be?

Thanks y’all!

PREFIXES"
CST= "gravity type toilet" Bowl & Tank (no seat included) Usually 2 piece.
ST= the tank portion
MS = one piece
CT= wall hung

MS=1pc toilet & soft close seat combo
SUFFIXES:
S = G-Max Flush, 1.6 gallons
E = E-max, Ecoflush, 1.28 gallons Watersense
U= 1 gallon
M= ???
G = CEFIONTECTr ceramic glaze

T=Tower, as in ET is 1.28 with tower
F = 16-1/8" high bowl "Universal height"
L = 16-1/2" high bowl

neither F nor L: normally means 14-5/8"
C = Double Cyclone Rinse renamed Tornado
Dynamax bad. No siphon jet) CST746=dud CST776 is ok
D = insulated tank
= bolt down tank lid, helpful in a commercial situation
R = Right hand lever

N as in EN = "New Tank" ("Neutral Rough-In" for urinal)

None of those letters, most likely 14-5/8" or could be 15-1/8" with
a standard height Aquia.

With TOTO, the third number lets you know which bowl you have.
**3 is round
**4 is elongated
"a 40 at the end of their model number have the hole predrilled for a washlet."

Most Drakes are standard height, 14-5/8"

-01 Cotton
-03 Bone
-04 Gray
-11 Colonial White
-12 Sedona Beige
-51 Ebony (not available in CeFiONtect)

That is great info, thanks!
Now I can look at the model I found and verify the features.
