Does anyone know for fact if toe kick saws designed to cut through staples, or do they kick back or wreck a blade when they hit a staple? 1960's home with extensive stapling of the red oak hardwoods... most likely I would encounter a few. Staples are old-school.

I've never used one, but I imagine that its carbide teeth will go through quite a few nails or staples.. but I'd be prepared with spare blades depending on how much cutting you're doing

I had some responses over on reddit calling it the death saw and experiences with it flying across the room, and multiple folks warning about high kick back potential. I guess I'll give a multi-tool a shot first.
