Anyways. I want to thank everyone for their help.
I successfully NuWelled the system. New (used) pump installed and with the help from my little local hardware store I managed to easily reprime the well & the pump with a pitcher pump. It's sounds so much easier on paper as I did have problems getting the plug (cap) off the top of the well.
This was definitely a learning experience. The next time my screen clogs (6 years) I will be better prepared.
