I got asked to change out the diverter valve on this fibreglass shower and do a drywall repair that someone else had cut open the back of the shower. I wasn’t sure what they had opened it up for but they told me they thought the problem was resolved. I get there and look in the bottom of the shower to see a big mess of red silicone and if you stepped in the pan it moved. So before I did anything I ran the water for 10 seconds and went around the other side to see it leaking steadily. So I ripped it out to see what hack job that was covering up. I’ve never seen a shower drain like this and I don’t know where to source the right part to fix it. If anyone could lead me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Some shower pans have a molded in cup that uses a rubber donut to seal around the pipe. You can use the handle of a hammer to align the 2" coming up to push the donut in. Liquid soap helps it to slide in.
