Hi All -
I have a Sears Power Miser 12, circa. Late 2006 model.
It just started doing this where the pilot light goes out.
I light the pilot, then turn up the temp. It looks like it brings the water to temp and then the pilot goes out . So for the past day, I've been doing the same old routine pilot-boil water and then in between errands and stuff, follow the same routine.
In search of a fix, I came across this thread.
On the famous thread sticked for the whirlpool, would the fix possibly be applicable as per above ?
Boiler was replaced on a whim due to leaking tank, and go figure....their xtended warranty is terrible. The earliest appt I could get from them is 2 weeks out.
Don't laugh but my previous copper boiler was like 30+ years old .
