This faucet is a single hole, 2 handle with drain brass unit. I found an "almost" correct replacement except the threads are standard G1/2". The old cartridge has a slightly greater TPI. I didn't want to force it and end up cross-threaded and leaking. Threads for the collar are perfect size.

The specs on what I ordered is:
Material: Brass, Ceramic
Spline Diameter: 7.6mm
Teeth on Spline: 20 Teeth
Thread size: G1/2 (1/2" 20.5mm)
Threaded Collar: With Threaded Collar
Size: 51mm x 18mm

My question is, has anyone else run into this problem and is there a place that can match my old cartridge exactly?

The cartridge appears to be the LF456251/252 or the LF456271/272 but they are short of your length of 51mm. the difference between these 2 are the splines. Both 20pt but 1 is European and the other is Non European. The 2nd attachment LF459281/282 shows the length you mention but the spline is a longer European 20pt.
