Hi. I've got an old bathroom (blue) sink. We could theoretically reuse it except for the metal ring around the drain hole that is all worn. Is there some kind of metallic coating available to fix this? Do these things come off and can I buy a new one? sorry, I don't even know what this is called.
Also, my contractor installed a sterling shower which had the back wall from the ensemble "tile" style and the side walls from the ensemble 'curve" style (they sent the wrong stuff and nobody noticed). It LOOKS like the pieces fit together despite the fact that the exterior design doesn't match up. Can I assume that this combo will at least be just as water safe as one with all the matching parts?
Thanks so much in advance
