We recently put in a new pump and has been working fine till now for 2 days in a row we have no water, we go to the pump house and the pump is still running, we shut of electric to pump and turn back on the water is on but then if we don't keep plenty of water running all of the time it will happen again. The switch is supposed to shut off at 20 it is a 20/50 switch. When this happens we have 0 pressure in tank and pump. I think it is the pressure tank needs to be replaced or pressure added, but I need some added input because my husband doesn't think I might be right, or do we need adjusting to the switch.
