Hey everyone,

I recently got a great deal on a Milwaukee M18 bare press tool (2922-20) and was looking for some advice on buying jaws vs rings. I can get a set of 1/2, 3/4 & 1" Milwaukee jaws for about $600 or a set of the Ridgid 1/2, 3/4, 1 & 1-1/4" rings + actuator for about $1,400. In your experience, how often do you find the regular jaws too big to get at a fitting straight on where you have to use the rings & actuator? Some people seem to say the rings take a bit more time to set up than the jaws, but I'm primarily using it for repairs and not piping a whole home. Do you think I'd be better off spending a bit more upfront on the ring & actuator kit? Thanks!!
