Hello friends. I know very little about plumbing 
We are updating the bathrooms in our new house. Husband had a plumber replace the valve in the master bathroom. He used a Posi-Temp valve. I have chosen Delta faucets and shower fixtures in a champagne bronze finish.
Our plumber tells us we can only select Moen Posi-Temp valve trim. I tried matching the finish, but it isn’t a match.
Removing the tile and changing the valve isn’t an option.
Can you really only use Moen Posi-temp trim with a Posi-Temp valve?
I am considering using a Moen gold valve trim that won’t really match but I was hoping I could use the Delta trim.
