Talking about a bathroom sink here in a remodel. 1 1/4" tailpiece, and the "hole in the wall" is about 1" too far offset that when i swing the p trap exactly horizontal (parallel to the wall) and make the 90 with the top piece, it still isn't offset enough to line up with the trap adapter in the wall. So, if this was a kitchen I'd go to the store and get me a 1 1/2" 45 offset slip coupler and some extensions and be done with it. But because this is a 1 1/4" bathroom drain...
A) do I go get one of those 1 1/2" 45 couplers that come with two 1 1/2" to 1 1/4" adapter washers and use that? I am thinking this is a clog/leak waiting to happen. I cannot find a true 1 1/4" 45 or 90 slip.
B) can you use mix metal slip pieces with pvc slip pieces? Maybe I can find a true 1 1/4" 45 or 90 slip in metal?
C) offset the tailpiece on the vertical somehow? Like one of those double offsets, if I have enough room?
D) what would you do?
