The wasteline from my upstairs bathroom has become a problem. Whenever the Toilet is flushed, shower run or bath drained, you can hear the water
in the wasteline downstairs in my house running through the wasteling descending into the basement. The drains upstairs arent slow, but it seems like something is disturbing the flow of the water. I've tried snaking and used chemicals, nothing worked any ideas?

Is this a new situation or has it always been that way? Plastic pipe tends to be a lot noisier than cast iron. Have there been any plumbing changes?
