Hello all,

I have a new 450' well with about a 6gpm fill rate. I need help with all the bits needed to make this function. I had a quote done to install the pump and its about 6k. Just for pump, wire, and pipe not to house just to well head to pump.

I would like to try installing myself but I am having some issues trying to find the best equipment to use.

I found a Gould pump/motor/control box for about 1500.00
wire for pump is 499.00
and all the bits such as check valves, pitless adapter etc are reasonably priced.

I cannot find sch80 1 1/4" pipe. What else could I use I read pros and cons about PE and sch 40.

Please let me know your thoughts.

TIA.
