Do I need a p trap to connect to the broken drain pipe? I'm interested in using ITD5135. I'm trying to avoid digging around the slab.
Not sure what previous owner had before I inherited the house with this plumbings mess. Any experts out there can guide me to the right direction to go about this. What are my options?
Thank you all

If the broken pipe has been removed, a new adapter installed, and the trap lines up with the new tub, then you should be ok to install. Most freestanding tub installs work best with this type of connection.

Thank you so much for confirming. I am going to pick your brain again :) for the standing faucet I see two water lines supplies attached to the wall next to the drain pipe ( first pic). How do I get the lines underneath the tiles for the standing faucet?

That would require opening the wall, removing concrete, then new concrete and tile after piping is moved. No joints allowed under concrete unless brazed.

I appreciate your input and time. Last favor is there any specific ideal spot where I can have the standing faucet installed? Can I use the same box where the drain pipe so I can avoid removing more Concrete?
