Hi All, I’m in the process of completing a kitchen remodel in a 100 year old house. My question is, would it be okay to tie a new 2 inch PVC waste line from the kitchen with a dishwasher to an existing 2 inch PVC pipe currently used only by the clothes washer? The Clothes washer is upstream. My concern is that the pipe is too small to handle a kitchen and laundry room at the same time. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

2" is fine. The allowed load for a two inch drain pipe in horizontal layout would allow two clothes washers AND Kitchen sink with DW. 2" Vertical can handle even way more.
