Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while, but now I have a reason to post.
I’m redoing two bathrooms, and installed Pex. I’m used to copper, but thought I would try Pex since it’s a tight fit. I just turned the water back on, and checked all the connections. Everything seems good, except the following.
On one connection, a cloudy, bubbly liquid fizzled (could hear it fizzle) out of of the the connections. It then stopped. No more than a teardrops worth of liquid came out. Now that I’ve wiped it off, nothing else has come out.
Not really sure what to make of it. My guess is it was a mixture of dust water and air. Has anyone experienced this before? Not sure if I should rip it out and redo it. I used Pex A 1/2 inch.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thank you
