Is there anyway i can tee off of a 3/4" gas line serving a tankless water heater for a BBQ grill?

There is enough capacity to add the grill but I'm worried about a pressure drop or the tankless failing to light. I was going to maybe reconfigure the drip leg and add another tee (3/4" x 1/2") for the grill. Does anyone know if this could be possible? The main is very hard to reach. Kinda hacky but I just have to ask as it will save me alot of trouble thanks.

Thats the way all of us would like to do it on our own home when we are doing it for free. there are 2 reasons not to do what you propose 1 you dont want it there 2 your gas piping would be undersized.
Josh another thing to concider is the bbq and tankless arent the only items on the gas system so its not just those 2 items that could / would be affected.
There is some leeway a few thousand btu over the limit might not hurt but Im not going there with advizing you too undersize.
Lastly to concider with no knowledge of how anything is piped there is a strong chance the system is already undersized and adding a bbq just throws it off worse.
Not to discourage but try to map out an approxamate diagraghm of the entire gas system every fitting isnt critical but guesstamet on lengths and sizes every where and tees
