What is the best type of check valve to install in a hydronic baseboard system to prevent “ ghosting”? After splitting two areas in the house into two individual zones we are getting ghosting back through the one loop. Is it best to use something like a watts flow check or a swing type check valve? Thanks in advance

How did you split the zones and how are they controlled? The B&G Flo-Control would normally be installed at the boiler BEFORE the lines split into the two zones.

The original “circuit” was set up as two series type loops with separate returns that join before going into boiler. The way it was split now causes ghosting back through the @return” side of one of the original loops. A simple check valve throw device will fix the issue, Im just am unfamiliar with what would be the correct check valve device for this application. It would be installed well away from the boiler on the return side of the loop that’s having the ghosting effect. Thanks much!
