How do I open this cleanout??

Hello fellow reader,

Included are pictures of a cover I'm trying to properly open. (without using pliers/hammers/screwdrivers).
The center square is 2"x 2" recessed about a quarter inch.
Is there a special tool for this?

Is that 2 inches across the sides on the square? This tool goes 1-3/8 across the sides, but that would be about 2 inches across the opposite corners. Click Inbox, above.

If you really have 2 inches on a side, you could try the techniques discussed in that thread.

Yes, my mistake. It's 1 1/2" each side, 2" across. This works perfect. Thank you kind sir.
