Need some help please. I am running on a generator ATM and only have 115vac. My pump is 220v but has a switch for 115v. Can I wire up a 3 prong appliance cable to the pressure switch or will I need a specific 115v pressure switch to make the cutover?

You want your little Honda generator to power your 1 HP jet pump? Sounds unlikely. The pressure switch is not the problem. The problem is that the power needed to start that jet pump is probably too much.

But you could try it.
