Hi there.
So I have a leaking faucet and it whistles when I turn it on part way; when open full blast whistling vanishes.
I am going to check the washer and the seat as I suspect the seat might be worn and chewed through the washer.
I took a very cursory stab at it this morning but I could not get the cartridge out. I tried a regular wrench and vice grips.
I put some oomph in it but didn't want to come onto it too hard for fear of breaking something or stripping it totally.
Is there a specialized wrench that would work for the cartridge and/or is there a way to loosen it up ?
It is a waltec, not sure the model number, but it has two washers around it if that helps narrow it down.
Thanks in advance for any and all tips
