goofy sewer line

Had my line cleaned today, a few tree roots. The camera caught this at the street where the pipe drops down into the city main. What has happened to the pvc here?

well that sucks. Looks like you're gonna have to dig it up. Luckily its pvc. so you probably don't have to replace the entire sewer.

Im not clear what is going on. didnt your camera operator tell you anything? looks like a fitting may have snapped at hub then again Im not even sure without going further thats what Im seeing. typicaly we have either a 45 or wye at the connection
