I also concur with the esteemed moderators....
the only thing I would do different is take the heater back and ask for an in-store credit....
then go get another brand of heater like a Rheem
by installing another Whirlpool , you are basically just
tradeing one p[roblem for a possible other problem down
the road...
they are 100% junk and its best to rid yourself of
it if you can...
