I have a fleck 9000 at my car wash that a few weeks ago blew the breaker. I flipped the breaker back on but I have to manually start a regen cycle and it doesn't soften water very long before it needs manualy regened again. The flow meter seems to be working and the big dial does turn with water usage. I am unsure of what would have tripped the breaker. It has not tripped since any ideas

Resin does not last as long with city water as with well water. The chlorine/chloramine degrades it with time.

If you replace the resin, use 10% crosslinked resin. It is more resistant to the chlorine attack.
