Posters in an earlier thread have lamented the short list of heat pump water heater brands, but what do you really need to do the job? Seems to me you could connect a ductless split system as easily to a water tank as to an air handler. I'm having a heat storage tank built anyway. What would I need inside it? Can a ductless unit deliver temperatures of 130-140 degrees?
