Condensation pipe

what do u guys say about connecting a.c. mini split condinsation pipe to over flow? since its befor p trap no sewer gases will come into a.c. system and if yes how would i connect to this pipe what fitting?

you could Ive never done it but why not? Ive recomended it befor . use a tubular wye branch tailpieve 1 1/2 " use them all the time on Lavs
