Clean out plug leaking

Cast iron stack clean out plug is leaking ,the old cast iron plug was completely rusty and no use at . So I put this plug in . Water is still dripping from the bottom of plug. Did I use the wrong one?or do something wrong? Any advice is appreciated. House is 1935 cast iron pipe heavy duty.two pictures are of the old plug that came out..
