Changing horizontal direction

Adding a shower in my basemant, it’s difficult to access further down the 4 drain main. Can I tie the shower drain “above” the 4 main drain and tie into it with a wye.
Wondering as the water flow changes direction

Yes you can use a wye and street 45 with a 90 on on top. A tee on top would probably be better. That will give you a good place to run your vent.
