The customer called about an American Standard Champion 4 Max that had water on the floor. There was water to the right of the toilet near the back wall on the vinyl flooring. The clear caulking around the bowl was still clear, it turns white if there is a leaking wax seal. It took a while to see the problem.

Vinyl looks bad.

And taking a picture from behind the tank of a weep spot.

I think it's time for new flooring. Hey, it was getting dated anyway. :)

Remember when everyone was saying that AS had fixed its quality-control issues and that we were dum-dums for questioning it?

Looks like some of the latent defects are starting to cause harm. That tank is from 2013, if I'm reading it right. That was a time where, IIRC, Terry was regularly having to return tanks and bowls without installing them because of obvious defects when he took them out of the box. Now it's time for the defects that people didn't see or object to to start to cause damage.
