I'm starting a bathroom renovation and have removed the existing alcove skirted fiberglass bathtub. It is 60 x 32.
Currently I'm trying to find a replacement tub that I can install. My top contender is:

In measuring up based on the above specs, it looks like the existing drain in the floor will not line up perfectly with the overflow location on the above tub.
The old tub had a 3 inch lip whereas the new has a 3 1/2" lip. It looks to me if I used a perfectly vertical drain kit i'd be about 3/4" inch shy of hitting the tub.
How is this generally handled?
1) Dig up drain in the floor and relocate?
2) Customize a drain kit to include angles pieces?
3) Use a flex drain kit?
How would you guys approach this?
Thank you,
Mike
