So I took my old neo angle shower out and replaced it with the American Standard Axis 38" curved base. Now, I've asked if there is another wall or door I can use that's compatible as the base had great reviews and the other components, not so much. I've been told no. Now my old surround was glue up, which is what i wanted here as there are no studs located where the direct to stud would screw in. The old door was in the dry wall with anchors. So here's my question, if I have to use these components, would I be able to just perhaps screw in the middle corner section and affix the rest with some type of adhesive?
