I have a hand rotary auger and when I hit the water table the sand collapses on the auger. How do I add bentonite to the bore whole to keep the walls from collapsing? Can I just pour the mud slurry in while augering?

Thanks

An auger will scrape the mud off the well walls. Going to need a tri cone bit and a mud pump. Or drill and drive casing at the same time with an under-reamer or something. Might be able to drive a sand point if it is soft enough.
