    Tightening a gas union..

    Hello All, If a gas union has a slight leak, is it acceptable to attempt to check tightness/tighten union ring with the gas still on? I.e. Spark concerns, etc? I assume this is an obvious NO DO NOT, don't be a fool!, but was wondering if it turns out this is not a problem. Thanks!
