Anyone know how to hook up a ice maker to pvc plumbing? I bought my house over two years ago and my wife is starting to get a little itchy about the ice maker still not being hooked up please HELP.

I certainly hope you mean you have CPVC plumbing since PVC is not acceptable for indoor use. That question aside, you would connect the icemaker the same as you would with any kind of pipe. First, forget about the wonderful saddle valve that comes with the icemaker. They're garbage. Cut the supply line, intall a tee. After the tee, install a shut off valve then adapt that to the fitting on the icemaker. This will require some reduction in size as well as the adaptor. You can probably find all you need at most any hardware or plumbing store.

Is it really PVC plumbing in the house? Or CPVC? Not supposed to use PVC in a residence.
To hook up the ice maker you would cut the pipe and install a tee with a valve off it for the ice maker line. Most people run 1/4" copper with flared fittings from the valve to the ice maker. There are other tubing materials. Your choice; your risk.

Like Bob says, use flexible copper tubing to connect. Around here, we usually use compression fittings.
