Moving the roughin for my basement remodel with shower, wc, lav in a 5X8 bath. WC is a straight 3 inch 12 foot run to main with a 2 inch 4 foot branch off each side for shower and lav. Also adding an additional 2 inch 4 foot branch to reroute the kitchen drain. So a main 3 inch with 3 (2 inch) branches.

Got the abs drains and vents all laid out/approved by the inspector in a dry run and ready to cut the slab.

Question on setting the slope. Once I get the slab all up and the pipes trenched in what's the preferred method for setting the 1/4 inch slope. Do you glue them all together straight and level and then use fill to prop the whole run and all the branches up the correct amount? Or do you start at the connection with the main and glue each piece so it's the right slope?

Seems it be easier to do the whole thing and prop but that's why I'm asking!

Thanks

Whatever is easier for you. We prefer to start at the beginning and work with each piece as we go. It makes it easier to change our mind once we get started.
