Timer Problem?

My sprinklers were coming on three times a day and I only wanted once a day. The timer was difficult to understand so I purchased a simpler 4 station Orbit timer. I still have the same problem. Could it be something other than the timer? I only have two stations. Thanks

I'd venture to guess you need to read the programing instructions a bit closer. Most controllers I am familiar with allow for multiple watering times per day, and it sounds like that may be your problem.

Remember that you only set one watering time. This is not a VCR.
