I have a Mansfield Plumbing Product toilet with a problem. Everytime that I flush it, a big air bubble comes in with the incoming water and splashes all over.

This toilet uses a model 210 flush valve instead of a typical flapper. This type of valve slides up and down on a column and shows no obvious problem.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem. Any suggestions?

thx.

Make sure that the bowl refill tube from the fill valve to the top of the flush valve is in place and working properly.

Take a piece of coathanger wire an under the rim inside the bowl poke it into each of the holes and make sure they are all clear.

Thanks folks. I cleaned the water holes a bit and it got better. I'll open the holes up a bit more and that should do it.
