Hello, hoping someone can help with my desperate situation.

We have a TOTO Ultimate toilet that was installed 3+ years ago.

Yesterday, it started acting up...for some reason, when flushing, the tank fills, but the water does not stop. Initialy, I was able to open the tap water and the flow would stop, but now this no longer resolves the problem.

I believe it is a FILLL VALVE issue?

Would anyone have information on where in Toronto I can purchase a replacement part?

Also, How difficult is it to install?

p.s. We are having a superbowl party and would hate to see this as a toilet bowl get together

Many thanks

Go to this link

It's the assembly cap, $2.47 at Lowes for the Korky QuietFill Assembly Cap.
It should take less than a minute to replace without tools.

Hi Terry,

Thanks very much for the info.

Just wondering...is the part only available in Toronto/Canada at Lowe's?

Many thanks
Steve

I don't know about Canada.
Korky (http://www.terrylove.com/korky/) makes fill valves and flappers, and many hardware stores carry them and the parts for them.
Also, you local Toto dealer should have the parts too.
