Zinc plated hangers for cast iron pipe

I've used zinc plated cleavis hangers to support my horizontal cast iron pipe run. Do I need to wrap the pipe with pvc tape where the hangers are, or is it fine to let the metals touch?

you are good for about 200 years.... I would not worry about it.....

if you need to do something to ease your mind,
just take some tar pitch and heat it up to a liquid
and then paint the hangers and pipe with a brush....

Now, I could be wrong about this and they might only last about 95 years... I dont want you getting mad and coming after me in the next life....

i dont know about heating up tar that might shorten your life by 70 years
