hi,
I have city water coming in the house for drinking but I think its not good maybe because of older pipes in city supply or copper pipes in my house(?)
I am ready to invest money into good water filtration system.

Can you please suggest some good water filtration system out there in market?
I am ok with any type of system, countertop, undersink, with tank, without tank. etc.

thankyou

This is best answered by a local company that installs these products. Since you are on city water there should be a water report on file (web site) by your water utility company. For the most part whole house filters, canisters or under the cabinet type are carbon. Some are good for 3000 gallons and large tank type are good for maybe 100,000 gallons. Media filter types are for sediment removal. There is no one answers as what is best or good. All carbon filters filter the same, its just the size of the filter

For drinking water only, an under the counter Reverse Osmose system is about the best way to filter water. The limitation is the 2 gallon tank and may use 3-4 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of drinking water.
