When I flushed the toilet in the master bedroom, there’s a gurgling sound under my living room floor. All air vents are clean no sewer blockages.

I live in a mobile home two bathrooms one in the front of the house one in the rear where the master bedroom is. When I flushed the toilet in the back of the house, there’s gurgling under the living room floor. This does not happen with the front bathroom only the back bathroom. I’ve cleared the vents on both ends of the house on top of the house. They are clear and I’ve checked and there is no sewage blockages. Everything is flowing fine. When I run the washing machine water does not back up into the bathtubs. Everything is clean, however when I flushed the back toilet, there’s a gurgling sound under the living room floor. Does anybody have any suggestions? What this could be?

I suspect there is a drain line that runs under the the living room floor, carrying waste from back to front.

My thought is to relax and not worry about the sound. If that is not going to happen, price what it would take to get that run of pipe replaced with cast iron pipe, which is quieter. Then relax and not worry about the sound, but instead think of how much money you saved.

It is possible that you could add some sound insulation for cheaper. It might be that a different pipe support system would transmit less sound to the floor.

How do you know there's no blockages? Gurgling is generally a guaranteed blockage indicator. Does the toilet bubble when flushed?
